There is plenty to look forward to at our next Farmers Market as Sotherton Beef have just confirmed their butchery demonstration.  Their butcher Steve will be showing us the fore quarter cuts of meat together with cooking ideas. The Brisket and Short rib joint (samples) will be cooked over night here in a slow cooker and kept warm so we can try the finished product also.   Exclusively for the market, Sotherton Farm Beef and Pies will be on a special offer and their Beef and Sweet Chilli Sausages at £5.95 per kg.

Also, look forward to Good Friday (22nd April) we when have our The Moomins Storyplaytime sessions – after touring book festivals last year to celebrate the Moomins 65th anniversary, the Moomins Story playtime session is coming back to Suffolk where it was created.

In the shops Samphire boutique is my pick of the bunch with some brilliant pieces for spring arriving daily. I love the new Kaffe range – it is such a good price I asked our buyer if we had made a mistake – I got a beautiful blue to with stunning detail for £22.  Well worth a visit.
