First Saturday of the Month
Monthly Farmers Market

On the first Saturday of each month, Snape Maltings hosts its renowned market, with local food and drink from the Alde Valley. Visit over 20 stallholders offering an array of produce including organic vegetables, award winning cheeses, fresh fish, organic smoked salmon, red poll beef, beef and pork pies and savoury treats. Open from 9.30 am with free car parking.

Father Christmas sails into Snape

Father Christmas arrives by barge at 2.30 pm into Snape Maltings to be greeted by children, Christmas carols and hot chocolate on the quay. Father Christmas will then visit his grotto to meet all the children.

Christmas Farmers Market

We are delighted to be hosting a Christmas Farmers Market on the Saturday before Christmas. Perfect timing for collecting cheeses, organic vegetables and an array of delicious goodies. Open from 9.30 am, free car parking.

Painting & Craft Courses 2009

Due to the development works in 2009 we are unable to run our annual painting and craft courses programme. Part of the development is a purpose built workshop, built on the ground floor. The opening date is summer 2010, and we will then operate a 12 month calendar of activities, including courses and workshops.
