From river walks & farmers markets to art exhibitions.....

First & Third Saturday of the Month during June, July and August
Monthly Farmers Market

On the first and third Saturday of each month, Snape Maltings hosts its renowned market, with local food and drink from the Alde Valley. Visit over 20 stallholders offering an array of produce including organic vegetables, award winning cheeses, fresh fish, organic smoked salmon, red poll beef, beef and pork pies and sweet treats. Open from 9.30 am with free car parking.

Maggi Hambling Exhibition

A small selection of North Sea oil paintings is on permanent exhibition and sale at Snape Maltings Art Gallery.  A full exhibition by Maggi Hambling will be held from 4th to 30th June 2009.

River Walks with the RSPB

At every Farmers market we have a River Walk lasting approximately 90 minutes with an RSPB guide.  These walks are free of charge however a £1 contribution is suggested towards the CONNECT programme for local conservation.   Throughout the month of May we have walks every Thursday departing at 11 am, these walks are approximately 30 -40 minutes long. All welcome.

Snape Maltings Antiques & Fine Art Fair

Enjoy the annual Antiques & Collectors fair with over 60 exhibitors of fine art and antiques set on the grounds of Snape Maltings overlooking the River Alde towards Iken.  Open daily from 11.00am, this is one of the county's most respected Antiques & Fine Art Fairs.
