Monthly Farmers Market - Next Market Saturday March 6th 2010

On the first Saturday of each month, Snape Maltings turns into a foodie heaven with local food and drink from the Alde Valley. Visit over 20 stallholders offering an array of produce including organic vegetables, award winning cheeses, fresh fish, organic smoked salmon, red poll beef, beef and pork pies and sweet treats. Open from 9.30 am with free car parking.

Food Safari events in Suffolk

Food Safari runs events and workshops that give you behind-the-scenes access to some of Suffolk's best loved food and drinks producers. We specialise in 'Field to Fork' days combining farm walks or fishing trips, wild food forays, butchery and cookery workshops, and fabulous feasts. Black Pudding and Pork Butchery

Stuart will demonstrate how to cut up a whole pig.  He'll also show you how to roll and stuff a whole loin, and what to do with the rest of the pig. We'll also then crack the secrets of black pudding making. This course takes place in Metfield Cafe. For bookings telephone on 01728 687980. £25 per person including lunch.
