Jubilee Royal Icing Workshop
Royal icing is set for a huge revival, as John Dean from the New Round House, Saxmundham will explain.

At the end of this wonderful workshop you will have created a beautiful iced sampler using all the basic skills learnt and used during the day.The day will give you the opportunity to understand:
- How to make royal icing
- The effective use and types of colour
- Making paper bags and using a range of icing nozzles
- Basic piping skills: dots, snail trail, scrolls, simple lettering and runout, piped flower blossoms
This one day beginners course at £50 per person (including all equiptment, ingredients and afternoon cream tea) is a real Royal Jubilee treat to kick-start a new hobby!

Pizza and Pasta Workshop for Children
Pizza and Pasta making workshop for children with Mike Keen from the Brewery Tap, Ipswich.

This tasty and creative workshop is a fantastic activity for all children aged 7 years and older. Children will love getting their hands (and faces) mucky learning how to make pasta and decorating their own pizzas.
£10 per child. Sessions run 10am-12.30pm or 2pm-4.30pm
Artistry in Cocoa Chocolate Workshop for Children
Learn chocolate making with professional chocolatier, Cheryl Brighty
Make lollipops, chocolate pictures, small sculptures, truffles…..be as creative as you like !!!! Prices are £20 per ticket for the 2 hour workshop- and best of all you can eat it afterwards! A perfect holiday activity for 6- 15 year olds. 5 year olds are also welcome with adult supervision.

Have you ever wanted to know more about chocolate and make your own?
Here is your opportunity! Three whole hours of chocolate to enjoy (and eat afterwards). To begin, we will learn how to taste chocolate properly and try some chocolate from different origins. Then we will explain how chocolate is made from scratch including making our own from roasted beans to try. Next we will make simple ganache and flavour it in different ways, followed by rolling and dipping a selection of chocolates to take home. This is all included in the ticket price of £35.

Aldeburgh Food and Drink Festival 2012
The Aldeburgh Food & Drink Festival is a two week celebration of the abundance of good local food and drink to be found in East Suffolk.
The 2012 Festival will take place at Snape Maltings, Suffolk IP17 1SR on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th September 2012 with fringe events following on throughout the county.
The main festival weekend is always an impressive two day programme of talks, workshops and cookery demonstrations from top chefs including, in previous years Matthew Fort, Galton Blackiston, Valentine Warner, Sheila Dillon, Rose Prince, Tommi Miers, Ruth Watson and Simon Wadham as well as many of the finest local Suffolk chefs.
We are also expecting over 90 exhibitors showcasing organic vegetables, fresh and smoked fish, rare breed meat and game, cheeses, frozen yoghurt, jams, beer, wine and lager.
