Snape Maltings and its staff are very proud to announce that it has taken on the corporate challenge to raise £10,000 for the EACH–Treehouse Appeal.
CURRENT TOTAL RAISED: £5,500
EACH (East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices) supports families throughout their experience of caring for children with life-threatening conditions and complex healthcare needs.
It has been donated a four acre woodland plot in Ipswich by a local charitable trust and has launched its first major capital appeal to raise £3 million to build and equip a new purpose-built children’s hospice in Ipswich for life-threatened children and their families in Suffolk & North Essex. They are relying on the generosity of the public for 100% of the funds needed to make this project a reality.
Each is planning to build its new single storey children’s hospice set in mature woodland with scenic views from each bedroom. The new building will allow end of life care to be delivered in greater privacy, provide more bed spaces for life-threatened children, provide private overnight accommodation for families and include dedicated areas for specialist therapies including hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, music and play therapy.
